Fried Roots is currently looking for any music licensing opportunities Our catalog is growing by the minute with some current releases on iTunes and some available for free download.

The main goal of our label is to create music we like and find the right avenues to display our tunes. Our specialty is Hip Hop, however, we are also exploring working with all kinds of musicians. We are documenting our steps to getting some income flowing into our independent label through music licensing.

The key here is establishing independent success. Fried Roots is on a mission to let the music sway in between the eardrums and increase our digital income. I’ve heard alot of talk about contacting music supervisors and other executives, but I really want to get an effective plan for our label to market our music correctly.

First step I am gonna take is do some research. I have found a site to familiarize myself with all the licensing steps and lingo. Music Marketing [dot] com has some great videos and articles about independent musicians trying to reach similar goals. As the list builds I will update here. If you are an independent musician, take a listen to some music and join us on developing a music licensing attack. Discussion can only make our efforts that much stronger.
