As our record label begins building some great momentum, we are always looking to connect with visitors, fans and potential new friends over multiple networks. I wrote an article the other day on the importance of musicians using Friendfeed and how it can be a great way to promote your band posts and social networking activity. Mashable then released this article about recent updates to RSS subscribers. Now your Friendfeed subscribers are also represented in your Feedburner subscribers.
The integration now is getting alot of attention because of its shift towards recognizing the importance of social networks such as Friendfeed and Blog subscription.
The point of joining our room is to keep updated with our musical movement. At the same time, there is a big incentive for all musicians to join us. Promote your music, introduce yourself and increase your exposure for your operation. You can leave comments really quick, drop some links in of things you like and spark discussions within the room with all the other subscribers. If other people like your posts or links, then that is shown on their timeline to their subscribers. It is a great way to get extra exposure and get to know some great people willing to help you out.
Drop in, introduce yourself and subscribe and I will return the favor. The main reason being, if you show interest in our operation then I would definitely like to know more of you. Join Fried Roots on Friendfeed.
