Fried Roots is always on the grind with studio sessions and ideas bouncing around. This is an unreleased track that was put together some months ago, “How You Play”.
Lost Thought and Shifty J combined forces and collaborated with Jwoods. The topic of the track centered around the different things we encounter in our daily lives and how we approach it: whether it’s emceeing and how we play over the music or just nonsense most of us encounter in our daily interactions with others.
Jwoods takes the first verse, followed by Lost Thought and Shifty J. Each emcee enters in their personal experience where the wordplay offers reminders of growing up. Live in the present.
